Miracle League of the South Hills partners with Ripken Baseball

The Miracle League of the South Hills will be hosting other Miracle League teams at the Ripken Facility during their Black Bear Tournament in Pigeon Forge, TN. We will be participating with the typical tournament teams during opening ceremonies and skills competition, and then competing in Miracle League games on our designated field at the same time as their tournament is taking place. This will be the first inclusive tournament in Ripken Baseball history! It's time to PLAY BALL in the Smokey Mountains!

Families are Responsible for:
Providing one (1) adult to accompany their athlete
This adult is responsible for the athlete for the entirety of the trip. The ML South Hills is notresponsible for the athlete outside of the travel team games. This includes adult athletes over the age of 18.
One (1) adult can be the chaperone for more than one (1) athlete with consent from the parents/guardians of the other athletes.
The maximum number of athletes that one (1) adult can chaperone is three (3) so that they can all fit in a single hotel room.
The registration fee of the athlete and the fundraising minimum of $1000 covers the cost of this chaperone. There is no additional registration fee for a chaperone.
Meals and snacks
Families are on their own for breakfast, lunch, and dinner unless told by a Miracle League director.
The Miracle League of the South Hills will have water and some snacks available on the bus and in the dugout during games.
If additional family members attend the trip, they are responsible for all costs including transportation, meals, tickets, hotels, etc.
Bus spots will not be opened to additional family members. Only the athlete and a chaperone will be allowed on the bus. If an athlete and their chaperone don't ride the bus for whatever reason, those seats will remain unused.
