Buddy Registration for the fall to open on July 15. First come, first serve.
Before you register: Check out our game schedule to see which team's schedule works best with your own. Buddies should plan to attend all games just as if they were a player on the team. Our athletes are counting on you :)

The Buddy System
- Buddies will register to join one of our MLSH teams, and will follow their team's schedule throughout the season.
- If you want to be a buddy for a specific player, make sure to figure out which MLSH team they play for!
- There will be a limited amount of buddy spots available for each team - so make sure you register early before they fill up.
Buddies will receive communications throughout the season from the coaches on updates and reminders but are responsible for following the game schedule for their selected team, which can be found on our website under the "Play" tab.

What is a Miracle League Buddy?
Miracle League Buddies are assigned a player for each game. The buddy is there to protect the player from balls, assist the player in batting and running the bases (if needed), and to be a friend on and off the field!
What is required of a Buddy?
Buddies need to be energetic, committed and enthusiastic for each game. We encourage buddies to keep a consistent schedule, which allows the players to grow more comfortable with their new friends! Buddies are responsible for their individual player from the time of introduction until the player is back in the care of their parent/guardian. This means that no matter where their player goes - the buddy goes too!
Volunteers Requesting Confirmation of Volunteer Hours:
If volunteers choose to utilize their time spent at the MLSH for service hours of any kind, the volunteer is responsible for keeping track of their own hours. The MLSH will confirm the hours listed based on the games signed off in the Buddy Check-In Binder. The buddy/volunteer must ask us themselves for confirmation of these hours. We do not provide confirmation to parents, guardians, etc.*

- Minimum age - 12 years old (Must be 12 by the start of the season).
- Maximum age - There Is None! We need adult buddies too.
- 1-hour commitment each week, 6 hours total for the 6-week season. (Fall 2022: Sept 7-Oct)
- Each team will have 2 weeknight games, and 4 Saturday games in the Fall 2022 season.
- Clearances required for anyone 18+ years old (see below).
- For the best results of the Buddy Program, we ask that only those that can commit to the full season register. The kids count on you just as if you were their teammate!
- Schedule: Buddies select to sign up for a specific MLSH team. The Buddy will then follow that team's schedule for the 6-week season. The game schedule will be available at registration, so the buddy can select a team that coordinates well with their own school/extra-curricular schedule.
