2021 COVID SAFETY GUIDELINES
If you aren't comfortable within a small group setting, please do not register.
Smaller groups - 16 athletes per session
The athletes will always stay with the same group within their session for the 8 week training program
Masks will be worn by all trainers during the entirety of the training session
The World Health Organization doesn’t recommend wearing masks when exercising. Athletes will be asked to wear masks when they come into the building, but can remove them while in stations where they will be exerting a lot of energy and increasing their heart rate above a safe amount. Instructors will let them know when they can remove them and when to put them on.
We will implement social distancing ALWAYS when the athlete is in a station where they do not have a mask on and as much as possible in other stations
Drop off only - to allow for social distancing and more space, parents will not be allowed to be inside during the training session.
John Dennis and Tim Gebhart will send a weekly email to inform the parents of the strength training and baseball activity that went on during the session so the athlete can practice at home
All equipment will be wiped down after each athletes uses it within the station as well as before before rotating to the next station
Athletes will wait outside the facility (or in their car) until a trainer comes to get them to allow us to clear the facility of the other session athletes and sanitize all equipment
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the facility
If an athlete or trainer feels sick, we will ask them to stay home for that day
Every athlete and trainer will have to sign a COVID waiver from the MLSH (WAIVER IS PART OF REGISTRATION)
Important Announcement: We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and follow guidelines from the CDC and WHO. If the program needs to be cancelled or downsized, you will be awarded a full refund. Priority will be given in the order by which registration occurred.
